to clarify...

i know it would be silly - for many of you to *really* walk on the walk in Edmonton...i guess my idea for my post below is more of a 'virtual' walk... if you want to post your babe's name, birthday, weeks along - in my comments section - this will be a little tiny taste of that walk that would be impossible to do in real life...
Denise, i totally remember your little babe without a name... y'know it's never too late...
Different things bring peace to different people. It was important to me to give my little ones names... & different people grieve in different ways.
i love that quote about grief being universal & yet completely individual... never completely understanding what another human being has had to process - & yet each of us having had to grieve at some point.

I think the reason I didn't pick a name was because I didn't know the sex. But the person on the last post who called their baby Gabriel or Gabrielle had a good idea -- there are lots of names out there that work for either\or. Maybe I'll put on my thinking cap and see what John thinks about it...

I had a positive pregnancy test on October 31, 2007 and started to miscarry on November 28th. Baby was due July 2008.

Paige's Cousin:

When we were at the walk last year they had a sidewalk where all the little babies names were written on. As we walked down we saw names like Whisper, Teardrop, Angel, Sunshine, etc. Might be an idea for you since you don't know the sex. A word/name that you feel could represent the little one. Makes the baby easier to talk about too when he/she has a name instead of "our miscarriage".
Some thoughts for you anyways.

Paige I love this idea. It makes me feel so connected with others who share this grief. I like to call my babe April though I don't know for sure the gender. I lost her at 11 weeks 4 days on April 11th, 2009. Our due date was October 26th.

I think I'll call mine Rory. Probably gone at least 2 weeks ago, around 5-6 weeks. Will definitely be with you in spirit, wish I could be in person.
