It's the little things that water and nurture love.
Never the big things...
The tiny words spoken - or left unspoken -
the small physical gestures of intimacy - like meeting eyes, or touching hands -
the daily grains of sand trickling into your "i need" pail -
filling it to overflowing -
the way that grande gestures could never.
i'm convinced that marriages could be saved -
or made beautiful -
by daily
choosing to make your lover your piggy bank -
and putting in

little
penny.
