Exhausted, we each slumped into our chairs, sipping our coffee & trying to wake up.
i'm so grateful to Neil for our little tiny ones that deprive us of sleep... i can't think of a more beautiful expression of my husband's love for me than our sweet little boys - & i tell him so all the time.
Winking at him, i sing in the cracking morning voice of one who never slept, the first line of the Meatloaf song that comes to mind, "i would do anything for love..."
Without missing a beat, he sings the second line, "'i'd run right into hell and back'...your turn, hon." He smiles wryly & i can't stop laughing...
Nothing like an early morning sing-along to get you going.

...and if we didn't laugh, we'd cry. Good job for singing & smiling :)
You guys are just too sweet.
Didn't think you were "old enough" for Meatloaf... he was all the rage when I was graduating high school in 1979! Wasn't another of his great hits "Paradise By the Dashboard Light??!" Sheesh... so much for the inspiration in the music scene back then...

Yes I know, I'm crazy. But you try holding a screaming baby for 8 hours and see how sane you are......baby slings and that ergo like the one you wear right now looks amazing to deal with it !
Speaking of sing-alongs....there are two crooning hombre's in my living room singing the silliest song ever written.. "To all the girls I've loved before"....haha...really!
