It's hard - and long.
It's more like the marathon i described it as in the beginning than i ever imagined. i have not read in one sitting all that i have written. i went back and read 2 pages, and it cost me over an hour, and i ended up adding an extra 500 words - *just* to make it coherent - and that was only 2 pages.
but it's fun too.
peck, peck, peck...

I'm totally rooting for you, Paige!! You have such a gift, and what a honor that you get to use it... yay!! Keep pecking!
From one writer to another -- I feel your pain! Keep on clicking girl!
worth it p... keep up the pouring out of heart and soul in words. When a person runs a marathon people stand on the sidelines and cheer and hand drinks of water... your mirroring this to a marathon made me think of Dickens' David Copperfield. He married a not-to-smart wife who couldn't help with the books or his writing but she wanted to encourage and be a part of his work so she asked if she could sit with him and "hold the pens" and whenever he needed a fresh tip pen, she would hand one to him to keep him going. :) -j
I can't imagine what a huge project this is, especially for a homeschooling mom of 7 children!! You are doing great and I know you are going to successfully complete this!
You gonna write me into the story? Y'know like some AMAZING friend who the lead character meets?
Bahaha!
I'm so impressed! I would have slacked off and fallen behind by the 3rd day...
Keep talking....you are over one quarter done. So much to say....
